There are two standards for large-diameter spiral pipe: 5037 and 9711. Standard 5037 is a steel pipe for ordinary flow transportation pipelines, standard 9711 is a steel pipe for industrial transportation.

9711 standard is also called national standard spiral steel pipe. The durable strength of 9711 standard spiral steel pipe mainly depends on the stress when it breaks after a specified time under high temperature conditions. It is mainly used for oil and gas transportation.

5037 standard is also called department standard spiral steel pipe. The standard steel pipe should do hydrostatically tested on the pipe body to prevent the pipe body from leaking during the application. It is mainly used in water supply and drainage projects of municipal engineering and pipes for building steel structures.
