Why the Steel Pipe Should do Anticorrosive before Used in Construction?

Steel pipe anticorrosion is important in project. The service life of the anticorrosive steel pipe can be 50 years.

Inner wall anti-corrosion coating is that in order to prevent steel pipe from corrosion from inside, reduce friction resistance, and increase the throughput, the film is applied to the inner wall of the steel pipe. Commonly used coatings are amine cured epoxy resin and polyamide epoxy resin, and the thickness is 0.038 to 0.2 mm. In order to ensure that the coating is firmly bonded to the pipe wall, the inner wall of the pipe needs to be surface treated. Since the 1970s, it has tended to use the same material for the inner and outer walls of the tube so that the inner and outer walls of the pipe can be coated simultaneously.

Anti-corrosion and thermal insulation coating: In order to reduce the heat dissipation of the steel pipe to the soil on medium and small diameter pipelines that transport crude oil or fuel oil, a composite layer of thermal insulation and corrosion protection is added to the outside of the pipeline. The commonly used thermal insulation material is rigid polyurethane foam, the applicable temperature is -185~95℃. The material has a soft texture. In order to improve its strength, a high-density polyethylene layer is added on the outside of the insulation layer to form a composite material structure to prevent groundwater from penetrating into the insulation layer.
